ABOUT US
We are Helena, Sue & Colin, the Stratford-Upon-Avon Fundraising Group set up in June 2021. Helena has been fundraising for Marie Curie since just before lockdown and Sue & Colin have been working for various charities for many years. We are passionate about improving End of Life Care and the great work of Marie Curie. We are organising some fun events locally and are also looking at new ways to raise money and awareness of Marie Curie, here in Stratford upon Avon and we would love your support. Fundraising has been challenging during the pandemic, but hopefully we can now do more together safely.
Since 2011, Marie Curie has set up Fundraising Groups across the UK to help raise money and awareness for the charity in their local area. They are a vital part of the Marie Curie family, raising a fantastic amount each year to help ensure we can keep supporting people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones. This is through our wide range of services including hospices, nursing, Information and Support services and research.

helping to talk, plan and prepare, to get things sorted in advance. The frontline nurses, hospices and free support line will help through final years, months, days and hours of life for whatever cause. And the bereavement service will be there for the people left behind.
Marie Curie's researchers, policy experts and campaigners push the boundaries of knowledge around what makes a good death, and fight for a society where everyone gets the best experience possible at the end of their lives.
